When getting certified, most organisations require their students to be able to swim 200 meters or 300 meters with a mask and fins. This isn’t a timed exercise and you don’t have to be an olympic swimmer to become a diver. Practicing in a pool or the ocean may help you get comfortable being in the water which will make learning how to dive easier.
Protect the oceans. Save the world.
Our oceans are at a turning point, with temperatures and sea levels rising, the habitat of all marine animals is at risk. You can be the difference.
