What are the requirements for learning to scuba dive?

  • All students must complete a scuba medical questionnaire. If any of the medical conditions apply to you, you will have to visit a doctor, who will assess the condition and whether it is safe to dive. In some parts of the world, all students have to visit a physician before starting the course
  • Being able to swim 200 meters or 300 meters with fins, mask and snorkel.
  • Be able to float for 10 minutes
  • Students must have access to learning materials for the duration of the course, complete quizzes and exams
  • For the practical part, the student must be able to complete the skills required
  • Minimum age to learn is 10 years old
